Mom seems obsessed with my fur sometimes.
Karen Jo: I never lived with a cat with long fur before. I love the way your fur gets wavy sometimes, especially the fur on your side, right next to your tummy. If you biggify the picture, it will get all out of focus. I forgot to switch the camera to macro mode. I will do better next time.
Not much went on today. Mom had turkey for lunch again, but this time I wasn't much interested. I only ate one bite.
Karen Jo: I have given up trying to figure out your food preferences. Yesterday you wanted all the turkey I would give you. Today, you couldn't care less. Who know what you will do with it tomorrow.
I just wanted to laze around while Mom got ready for work today. I ignored all the toys she got out for me, but I played with my nip ball while she was gone. She couldn't find it tonight.
Karen Jo: I will find it tomorrow in the daylight. I always do. You really wanted your nip treats tonight. I just gave you nip treats when you asked for treats to see how many you would eat. You ate eleven of them, then you raced me to your food dishes.
Sometimes nip treats give me the munchies. I wanted my dinner and I ate quite a bit of it. Then I wanted to play, play, play.
Karen Jo: And play we did. You really gave your fevver-butt squeaky mouse a workout, along with your sparkle ball and even your big ball a little bit. I love playing with you.

I always confuse my human with my food preferences too, Herman. I think it keeps her on her toes.
Sounds like you had a good evening together!
What exactly are these nip treats, Herman? Sometimes we get catnip or catnip buds, but treats? We'd love to know what they are!
It pays to keep the moms on their toes with the treats Herman - make them buy lots of different sorts and then only eat one kind - it's so good to wind them up haha!!
Phantom loves to confuse the Momster about what he wants to eat too - never the same for two days in a row. Hope you find your nip ball.

Yup, Herman, us kitties need to keep our mamas guessing all the time.....good show!!!!!!!!!
Have a wonderful day handsome friend.....we luvsya and your mom.
Herman we totally understand what you are doing with the food changes - we do that to our mom all the time! And we get the same way if we have a lot of nip - it makes us want to eat and play! And we think your fur is very cool when it gets wavy - Floyd's would do that too (usually if it got wet from bathing) and mom thought it was so cool!
Herman it looks like you had your fur crimped! I love it!
That was so sweet when your Mom said she "loves playing with you"
What a great Mom!
It is good to be finicky we have decided here. That way you get whatever you want!
Herman, Johnny and Sweet Pea have curly furz too! They are so soft.
We think it's great your Mom loves to play...she sounds just about purrfect to us!
We always change our minds about the food we like - keeps mom on her toes!
Hi Mr. Herman, guess what? I'm my mom's first long haired cat, too, even though the shelter and vet say I'm medium furred - it's still the longest she's had. She loves playing with it, and I don't mind usually. Is your nip ball one of those Pawbreakers? If so, I just got one and I LOVE it! Well, I kinda lost it and my mom won't help me find it, but when I know where it is, I love it!
Your friend, Zoe
We think you were turkey'ed out, Herman.

Way to keep your mom guessing about your food preferences, Herman. ;)
It sounds like the two of you had a really wonderful evening together!
You do have to admit Herman, you do have beautiful fur. My Mom would like to run her hands through it too. I can understand why you didn't want to eat the turkey on the second day. You had enough on the first day. Hope your Mom found your nip ball.
