Karen Jo: There isn't much I can tell you. We moved on to my brother's house, as he has more room. The poor kitties have to remain isolated because of their feline leukemia. At my nephew's they had to stay in the bathroom. Here they have a whole bedroom and I sleep with them. So far the fire fighters have kept the fire out of Los Alamos and away from the lab. It is beginning to look good for going home. Some county and lab workers are being recalled to get the town ready for re-occupation. Things could still go horribly wrong, but so far it looks really good.

We are glad things are looking good. We are still purring hard.
Paws crossed here too. I can only imagine how stressful this fire must be for you all!
Hoping all continues to look better and the fires go away and you can return home soon. Hugs and nose kisses
We are so sorry you are having to go through all of this, dear friends, but are glad things are looking up for going home. We will continue to purr and pray for you ... you are all constantly in our thoughts these days.

We've been purring for you. Mom's aunt and uncle live in Los Alamos too, but they were in Albuquerque already. We are glad to hear that the fire fighters are keeping the fire away from the town and lab. We are purring that they are able to do their job without any injuries.

Paws are most definitely crossed...it's really gotta suck, even though you have family to stay with. That's just not the same as home...

'Kaika's mom here. Karen Jo and Kitties, we are holding good thoughts for you, and 'Kaika and the girls are purring safe thoughts your way. We know how frightening fire season can be, as we live near the Sierra National Forest and Yosemite National Park as well as BLM lands. We hope you will be back in your own home soon.
I hope it all works out and the cats and you can get back home soon. In the meantime, at least you're safer and the cats have more room.
Hug your brother for me!
