Getting Better

No picture today as my Mom hasn't been taking pictures lately. As a matter of fact, she hasn't been doing much of anything lately. She fell down on the floor a squillion naps ago and made lots of loud OW! noises then she went to bed and hardly got up until yesterday. She doesn't get down on the floor with me and play at all. I really miss my playtime, but at least tonight she gave me some chick-hen.

Karen Jo: I am sorry about your play time, Herman, but I fell against the bathtub and cracked two ribs the evening of December 8th. I asked my physical therapist about getting down on the floor with you and she said, "Definitely not!" I did roll your ball around for you a little bit this afternoon, but I had to stop after just a little while because I can't bend down much. At least I can get up more and have much less pain. I will try to figure out some way of playing with you, because I can tell how much you miss it.

We're sorry your human fell down. Our's does it a lot too. We told her that bathtub was dangerous. Unlike us cats, she always lands on her head wif her feets pointing in weird dirrections.

Oh, I'm sorry you got hurted! Maybe you could get some sort of wand toy; those make for easy and fun playtimes.

We're so sorry your mom got hurt. We know you'll take good care of her. Snuggles and purrs are the very best medicine to make a bean feel better. We hope she feels better very soon.

We hope you are okay Karen Jo. That sounds very painful. We are sending you healing purrs.
Herman, you have to purr and look after your mum and as soon as she feels better, you will get lots of playtime again.

OW.

Herman dood, you gotta cut her some slack since she can't get down to play. Clearly, you must rise to her level and jump up on the bed and head butt her a lot. Lay across her face. People love that, I swear.

Oh, and you might need to lick her a lot to bathe her since it sounds like she doesn't do well near a bathtub...

It'll make her feel better, too ;)

Don't forget to purr on your mom to make her feel better. She better find some old gloves to wear so she can finger play with you and not bend down.

I have just heard that your mommie got hurt. I was so sorry to hear about that and hope she is getting better each and every day. If she cannot get down on the floor with you then you need to get up on the bed with her. Give lots of purrs and snuggles, that will help her to feel better.

We are purring that your mama will get better soon. Mom says that hurty ribs really hurt because they can't do much to brace them. We think maybe your mom needs to get you some wand toys so she can sit on the couch or the bed and still play with you.

Oh poor Mommy Karen Jo! I'm so sorry about her getting hurt Herman!
Your company and purrs will help her feel better. Just snuggle together and play with your mousies when you have some kitty energy to burn. I like the wand idea that Daisy had.
I will keep you in my thoughts Karen Jo!
Lots of gentle hugs,
Lorianna

This is terrible news. I hope you feel better KarenJo. Herman demands your attention! :-) Broken ribs or not, playtime is important.

Feel better soon dear <3
Perhaps with your rest, Herman will turn into Mr. Cuddles

Hi KJ - I'm very sorry that you fell - I'm glad to hear that you are getting better - congratulations on your new fellow Herman - I think he has the best mom in the world for him. If you can't get down to play with him, have him get up on the couch with you or the bed - he'll come around. xox T.
