Mom was hoping that my eye color would show up a little in this photo and it did, but you have to look closely to see it. I let my Mom sleep yesterday and, let me tell you, kitties, a well-rested Mom is a dangerous thing. She went nuts. She got up and went shopping. Then she started cooking up a storm. She totally trashed the kitchen, then cleaned it up again. There was the smell of cooking chicken all afternoon, but she didn't give me any.
Karen Jo: I was cooking my lunches for the next few days and more for the freezer. I had almost depleted my stock of cooked food for when I don't have time to cook from scratch. I offered you some sweet and sour chicken today, but you didn't want it. That didn't surprise me. I didn't think you would, with the soy sauce and vinegar in it.
When she was through with all that, she cooked a steak and I helped her eat it, a little.
Karen Jo: You asked me for lots of treats just before I cooked the steak again. I didn't give you as many as you wanted because I was afraid you wouldn't have room for steak when it was ready. I was almost right. You only wanted two bites and you had me tear those up into tiny bits.
After all that activity, when it came time to blog, she told me she was too tired.
Karen Jo: I wore myself out and I still didn't get everything done that I needed to get done. I gave you another ride in your stroller.
I enjoyed the ride and didn't jump out until it was over.
Karen Jo: You did jump out the second it was over. I was reaching for the camera and didn't even get it into my hands before you were out. I think I am going to have to zip you in to get a picture of you in your stroller.
I don't want to be zipped in. I like being able to stick my head out to see where we are going without any mesh in the way. Mom is threatening to get the sucky monster out tomorrow.
Karen Jo: I know how much you hate it, but the carpet really, really needs vacuuming. I need to dust, too. Actually, I think I better get up early in the morning, with all the work that needs doing.
You will find me under the bed. I better get some treats when you finish.

Wow, Herman, your human is just a whirlwind of activity! I'm glad you got a few treats in!
Karen Jo: If Herman won't help you with the sweet & sour chicken, I and my furry clan sure will be happy to. We have never imagined a kitty being so blessed as to have you for a mommy. WOW! You always go so beyond the mark for your little Herman, and he is beautiful, happy, and healthy as any other kitty out there because of it. I've always thought that I was an incredible 6-cat mommy, but by comparison to your parenting skills -- let's just say that I don't come out on top of the catnip heap. You and your special boy are SUCH an inspiration to all of us. Keep it going!! We love you both!
Busy busy bsuy where you are Herman. We love your new header!
We like your header Herman - you look very handsome in your cube. We would have eaten all your mom's chickhen for her!!
Herman, it's nice that you got some steak!! And that you rode in your stroller again too, even if you didn't stay in it long enough for a picture! Stay away from the rug sucking monster!! It's vicious!!
Herman, you've got the right idea about it ALL. Why is it that our humans don't see the situations as we do? We just got a good idea: Maybe we should get extra brave and get that sucky monster out when our human is sleeping and carefully put it on the bed, push that button, and then RUN like the wind!
Herman, you are a very handsome mancat.
Sounds like your mum was a whirlwind but at least yo got treats and a walk.. Hugs GJ xx
Your mum was very busy Herman, but at least you got steak and treats.

Happy weekend, Herman!
Mr. Herman, our mom has been really lousy at helping us blog. We can't even get her to set a schedule. AND, ours doesn't even cook for us! We think your mom is way better than ours.
You have a busy Mom! If she ever has any excess energy, I live in NJ! ;)
