Here I am wondering if I would rather play or nap. I have been having bad fur days lately. It just sticks out every which way.
Karen Jo: It's the dryness of the air, Herman. You get a touch of electric cat and your fur stands out.
Then I wish the air would get wetter. This is a bit embarrassing.
Karen Jo: I wish it would, too. We were supposed to get snow today, but we didn't even get clouds. There was a very nice almost full moon out to light my way home from work.
Mom finished off the meatloaf today and I even helped her.
Karen Jo: That surprised me a little. You ate quite a few tiny bites even though you haven't been the least bit interested in it for the past few days.
What's next on the menu?
Karen Jo: I haven't decided yet. I will probably eat out of the freezer for a day or two.
Yuck! I don't like stuff out of the freezer.
Karen Jo: Don't worry, I will cook again soon. You have enough treats to see you through. I found your nip treats on special today, so I stocked up on them, too.
At least I won't starve to death waiting for you to cook something good.

Even though she is not 100% perfect, you do have your human pretty well trained with the food, Herman. My human isn't as good - she only eats something she'll share with me, like chicken, salmon or sardines - a couple times a week. But other days she will eat something like spicy Italian sausage or (ick!) something totally vegetarian! I am trying to talk her into making me, I mean us, a leg of lamb.
Herman,
Nice job on getting your mom to share her food as well as having lots of treats stockpiled. Mommy doesn't make meatloaf often enough for us and when she has steak, she hogs it all. Chicken she shares, though.
Try having your mommy rub your fur with a lightly damp cloth... it will help with the electric fur.
Stay warm and we hope your mom takes you on some more practice stroller rides-they sound fun and we like the idea of getting out in the sun and fresh air, come the warm weather.

It looks like you has your Human wrapped around your paw, like I do mine...That meatloaf sounds yummy!PS: We likes your furs, they looks quite Maine Coonish and we'z sweet on those Coons.
Our furs have been sticking out all over the place too, Herman. And sometimes when mom touches us, we get a little shock! The air is waaaaay too dry, she says!
Leftoever meatloaf sounds yummy!!
Stocking up on nip treats sounds great to us.
We've never tried meat loaf Herman - is it tasty?
Herman, your Mom needs to coach our Mommy on Treat Distribution. Srsly.
Mommy uses a product called "Humilac" that she sprays on a brush and combs into our fur. it cuts down on the static and helps with dry skin, too. You can get it at the vet or on line.
We think you look handsome even with your electric floof!

Oh, Herman, us boys understand the "bad fur days" as we are both floofy kitties.
Happy Sunday and love to you and your mom.
It is so hard to decide what to do sometimes! You have a very well trained human I have to admit...
This message if for Karen Jo. You won the custom bloggy header for $20.00 at Lily's birthday auction benefiting Chrystal's cat house. Please press the chip in button and let Ms. Chrystal know what you won and then she'll let me know so that I can get you and Ms. Judi together to discuss your "header" plans.
Much luvums,
Lily Jayne Slimmer :)
We have electric cat here, too. It is no fun when Mom touches us and makes sparks fly!
Oh Herman, I too have had some major bad fur days. Your mommy was right..it's the dryness of the air.
Hey, we were supposed to get more snow today too, and we got NONE. That didn't make us very happy. Herman, if you don't want what comes out of the freezer, send it here to us, we are always willing to try something new.

UGH! My furs are doing the same thing! And I'm getting tired of getting shocked by everything! I hate this!

I lucky, but I does envy my brofurrs and sissfurrs when I sees a fancy well brushed and combed coat. Big One said I was handsome kitty anyways."
I always love your conversations. I feel like I'm in the room with you!
I hate electric static in the winter too! But it must be even worse for you Herman!
