Boring Day

This is the first picture I took of Herman with the flash.  I took it just after the not so hot video I put up yesterday, just in case the video didn't work at all.

Mom, you hardly played with me at all today.

Karen Jo:  I know, Herman, and I'm sorry.  I slept later than usual, then I had to do the laundry.  I tried to play with you after lunch, but you were too sleepy.

You went back to your room and closed the door.

Karen Jo:  Yes, Herman.  I got all drippy and sneezy and I don't want you to catch my cold.  I came out for dinner and let you lick some sour cream and butter.

I liked that.  You did play with me after dinner for a long time.

Karen Jo:  I really enjoyed that.  We played and cuddled for almost 45 minutes.

Then you went away again.

Karen Jo: I'm sorry, Herman, but I got all drippy and sneezy again.  Maybe I will be better tomorrow and we can have more cuddle and play time.

I would like that.  Will you let me sleep with you tonight?

Karen Jo: Of course.  I love it when you sleep with me.  I can turn away from you if I get sneezy again in the night.

Get your best rumbly purr on Herman, this will stop the tap in your Mum's nose and also cure the sneezing. Purring is the universal medicine!

Purring at sneezy moms and snoozing with them is always a good thing.

Herman, doood, tell your Mom that it's, like, REALLY rare for human colds to pass onto kitties... Stabby guy told the Woman that when I was got so sick a few years ago because she was afraid she'd made me sick. Chance it that happening is less than one half of one percent.

ow the gross part...you gotta sit on her and purr, because evidently that helps people get better. And since you need her opposable thumbs, you need her to get better...

Nothing is better for what ails you than a purring heating pad!

Hope your mama gets better! Boy kitties are just as good as girl kitties at being nursies, so take care of her as much as you can!

dripping and sneezing is not great and when beans sneeze, it surprises me! I hope you are not allergic to Herman's furs!, otherwise, he might get a big haircut and have to wear a sweater this winter.

Yah, it is a good idea ta stay away from sneezy moms. Otherwise, there might be a Cat Flu devolop an yad be responsible.

Give her a couple days an ya will both be thick as thieves after that! We're not quite sure why thieves are thick, but The Big Thing says that a lot when critters are close an happy.

I hope the sneezies are due to a cold and not a Herman allergy. Get better soon so you two can play more!
